Growth Accelerator Rider
Interest crediting strategies with the Growth Accelerator Rider is added onto select existing interest crediting strategies that will offer increased caps or participation rates in exchange for a rider charge.
The rider charge (1.25%) is assessed at the end of the Strategy Term against only the Contract Value allocated to interest crediting strategies with the Growth Accelerator Rider. Contract Value allocated to interest crediting strategies without the Growth Accelerator Rider will not be assessed a rider charge. This charge will be assessed even if no interest is credited due to zero or negative index performance. The cost of this rider may cause the Contract Value to be negative. This Rider is only available during the Withdrawal Charge Period. This rider may not be elected in conjunction with the Enhanced Death Benefit Rider or the Premium Enhancement Rider.
