Premium Notes

Additional money can be sent in whenever (qualified or non-qualified it doesn’t matter). Minimum amount is $100 whether it’s a one time check or an automatic payment. The max contribution would be the max amount for the contract overall.

Withdrawal Provisions

Withdrawals
Withdrawals can be made from the annuity contract any time before the maturity date of the contract. Free withdrawals of up to 10% of the contract value are allowed each contract year beginning in year two. Free withdrawals are not subject to withdrawal charges. Withdrawal charges will apply to withdrawals taken in excess of the free withdrawal amount. Any withdrawal from the contract will result in a reduction of the contract values.

After the first contract year, one additional free withdrawal of up to 100% of the contract value is allowed if the owner is confined in a qualified care facility for a minimum of 90 days. Confinement must begin after the contract issue date and written proof is required from both the qualified care facility and recommending physician. This no-fee rider is automatically included for ages 75 and under and offers both a Qualified Nursing Care Benefit and Terminal Illness Benefit.

Terminal Illness

Unavailable in states: CA

After the first contract year, one additional free withdrawal of up to 100% of the contract value is allowed if the owner is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Diagnosis must occur after the contract is issued and written proof with supporting documentation is required from a qualified physician. This no-fee rider is automatically included for ages 75 and under and offers both a Qualified Nursing Care Benefit and Terminal Illness Benefit.

Confinement

Unavailable in states: AL, AK, AZ, AR, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, PA, PR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VI, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY
