The Symetra Edge Plus 7 is a single premium fixed indexed annuity with a 7 year surrender charge and a MVA provision, offered by Symetra Life Insurance Company, can provide higher credited interest than traditional fixed deferred annuities, because the interest you earn is based on the future performance of one or more market indexes. The amount of interest credited is subject to either a cap (upper limit) or a margin (deduction)—depending on which index(es) you choose—and your purchase payment and earnings are protected by the safety of a “floor.”
