The Jackson Market Link Pro 4 is an individual single Premium deferred registered index-linked annuity Contract issued by Jackson of NY. A registered index-linked annuity (RILA) is a long-term, tax-deferred vehicle designed for retirement. It is subject to investment risk, its value will fluctuate, and loss of principal is possible. A RILA, which is an insurance contract, allows you to choose how you want to prioritize growth opportunities while managing the amount of loss you may assume. Earnings are taxable as ordinary income when distributed. Individuals may be subject to a 10% additional tax for withdrawals before age 59½ unless an exception to the tax is met.

Performance lock

Lock in a portion or all of the interim value (positive or negative) —at any point during a 1-, 3-, or 6-year index account option term (term). A partial performance lock can only be used once per premium year.
The value at the lock-in point moves to the performance lock holding account until your next premium allocation anniversary.
On the premium allocation anniversary, the performance lock holding account’s value can be reallocated to the identical index account option, depending on availability, or to another available index account option. If no reallocation choice is made, funds within the performance lock holding account will be moved to a new term of the original index account option. Once the index account option value is removed from an index account option with a guaranteed cap crediting method, it cannot be reallocated into a new or existing guaranteed cap crediting method.

Waivers

Extended Care

We will waive withdrawal Charges on up to $250,000 of Contract Value withdrawn, after you have provided us with a physician’s statement verifying that you have been confined to a nursing home or hospital for 90 consecutive days. Your confinement to the nursing home or hospital must begin after the Issue Date of this Contract. This waiver is available only once, no matter the amount withdrawn, or in the circumstances of multiple confinements for the same or a different medical condition and/or Joint Owners. Withdrawals made pursuant to this waiver from Index Account Options are subject to an Interim Value adjustment.

Maximum Issue Age is 85.

Minimum Single Premium is $25,000. Subsequent premiums of $500 ($50 through automatic payment plan).

Withdrawal Provisions

Free WithdrawalsEach contract year, the greater of 10% of remaining premium still subject to withdrawal charges at the beginning of the contract year or earnings. Free withdrawals not taken in a contract year are not available in future contract years. All withdrawals, including automatic withdrawals, required minimum distributions (RMDs) and free withdrawals, apply to the total amount withdrawn in a contract year and are subject to the interim value adjustment. The RMD withdrawal must be for this contract only and you must specify that the withdrawal is an RMD. Partial withdrawals during the withdrawal charge period reduce the contract value on a dollar-for-dollar basis and may be subject to applicable withdrawal charges. For more information on the interim value adjustment, please see the contract prospectus. Taxes may apply to any withdrawal you make.
