The Total Interest Annuity is a flexible premium, deferred fixed annuity. Surrender Charges can apply for up to 10 years. Therefore, the Total Interest Annuity should only be purchased with funds that are not expected to be needed in the next 10 years. The Total Interest Annuity is designed as a long-term holding.

Purchase Payment Limitations
The minimum Purchase Payment allowed is $2,500 or a recurring Purchase Payment of $50 per month. The total of all Purchase Payments may not exceed $1 million without prior approval. Surrender schedules vary by state.
Additional premiums accepted as both, Lump Sum or Periodic payments.

Free Withdrawals
Generally, Owners can withdraw up to 10% of the contract value per year without penalty during any contract year. This feature is not available during the first 12 months of the contract.

Return of Purchase payments Guarantee Rider
If you surrender your annuity, we guarantee that the amount you will receive is an amount equal to all Purchase Payments you made, less: (i) prior withdrawals; (ii) any premium or other taxes we must pay; and (iii) any rider charges. The Return of Purchase Payments Guarantee Rider is not available in Texas, Vermont, and Washington.

Note: TSP funds would be accepted as a rollover.

Surrender Charges do not apply upon a Death Benefit payment.

Annuitization

Unavailable in states: CT, MD, MA, TX, and WA

Surrender Charge Waiver for Early Retirement Rider. The waiver is only available on 403(b) or Roth 403(b) contracts. Owners can take withdrawals from their contract without a surrender charge if they meet the following qualifications: 1. Minimum of 5 years in the contract; 2. Minimum age of 55; 3. Separation from service at or after age 55; 4. Cost is a 0.25% reduction in the overall crediting rate, and the option is not available in CT, MD, MA, TX, or WA.
