Death
The withdrawal charge does not apply if the owner dies and a death benefit is payable to the beneficiary.
Nursing Home
Unavailable in states: CA, and MA
The withdrawal charge does not apply if an owner (or older joint owner, if applicable) has been confined to a nursing home for more than 90 days (or such other period, as required in your state) as verified by a licensed physician. A nursing home for this purpose means one that is approved by Medicare as a provider of skilled nursing care service, or licensed as a skilled nursing home by the state or territory in which it is located.
Terminal Illness
Unavailable in states: MA
The withdrawal charge does not apply if we receive proof satisfactory to us (including certification by a licensed physician) that an owner’s (or older joint owner’s, if applicable) life expectancy is six months or less.
Disability
Unavailable in states: CT, MA, NY, and OR
The withdrawal charge does not apply if an owner (or older joint owner, if applicable) has qualified to receive Social Security disability benefits as certified by the Social Security Administration.
Premium Notes
0–85 for Nonqualified, Roth IRA & Traditional IRA Funds.
20–75 for Qualified Plans.
0–18 are available under a custodial agreement under the Uniform Gifts to Minors Act (UGMA) or Uniform Transfers to Minors Act (UTMA).

Withdrawal Provisions
Free Withdrawal AmountAccess up to 10% of the beginning-ofcontract-year account value free of withdrawal charges. Withdrawals in Excess of Free Withdrawal AmountIf withdrawals are made prior to 5 years after making a contribution, the investor will incur a declining withdrawal charge, a percentage dependent on the year they withdraw. Withdrawal charges may be waived under certain circumstances. Note: A new withdrawal charge schedule will apply to each contribution as of the date received by AXA Equitable. Withdrawals from a SegmentWithdrawals prior to the Segment Maturity Date reduce the Segment Investment on a pro rata basis by the same proportion that the Segment Interim Value is reduced on the date of the withdrawal. The Segment Investment is reduced proportionately based on the percentage that was withdrawn from the Segment Interim Value.
